Alyson Schacherer has been a member of The Barrow Group Theatre Company in NYC since the early 2000s. There she’s directed: The Pavilion (“A tantalizing revival” -NYTimes), Gruesome Playground Injuries, Dying City, Becky Shaw, ScoreFest by Steve Horowitz and The Code International (addl. original music recording, and residency with CalArts and Disney’s REDCAT theater). Most recently she directed The Antipodes for ARC in the SF Bay (“an exquisite West Coast premiere”, “elegant, seamless direction” -Bay City News). Other directing credits include: I Made This For You, Heroes and Other Strangers, Mommy Blogger, The Bedbug Problem: a #metoo satire, and Bodies are Weird. Alyson coaches actors and directors on and off set for projects such as: Fallout, Ramy, And Just Like That (SATC), Wolfs (with Brad Pitt & George Clooney), Cross, Fargo, Law & Order, and #Horror.
